About Head CT
Computed Tomography (CT) of the head is an imaging procedure that uses special X-rays to produce images of the brain for diagnostic purposes.
Estimates reflect both the facility costs (taking the image) and the professional cost (reading the image) of Head CTs with and without contrast. The average cost displayed is based on insurance paid amount, plus patient’s copay, coinsurance, and deductible amounts. See the Methodology page for more information.
