About Patient Ratings
The chart shows results for hospital patient experience measures reported by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS provides public information on patient experiences with a hospital based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. Quality Measures Descriptions
Patients who gave their hospital a rating of “9” or “10”: The percentage of patients who gave their hospital a rating of 9 or 10 on a scale from 0 (lowest) to 10 (highest).
Doctors “always” communicated well: The percentage of patients who reported that their doctors “Always” communicated well.
Nurses “always” communicated well: The percentage of patients who reported that their nurses “Always” communicated well.
Patients “always” received help as soon as they wanted: The percentage of patients who reported that they “Always” received help as soon as they wanted.
Patients would definitely recommend the hospital: The percentage of patients who reported YES that-, they would definitely recommend the hospital.
